New Generation Hostel introduces students in the work environment,
showing the tools to succeed and excel.
Students can benefit training in the following areas:
Students will be working alongside the current reservation clerk and be jointly responsible for the day-to-day operation of the reservation area, this will include: dealing with callers to the main switchboard, dealing with bookings, assigning rooms, preparing bills, taking payments, dealing with special requests from guests, answering questions, and dealing with complaints.
Working alongside the current receptionist, students will learn the skills to provide excellent customer service, and be jointly responsible for the day-to-day operation of the reception area. This will include dealing with callers to the main switchboard, visitors, and deliveries. Students will be the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries and will relay messages accurately and in a timely manner. Besides check in/out, students will welcome and greet visitors, assist customers with tourist information, and learn how to respond to complains.
